In my free time, I continue to work on my design skills.I most recently wrapped up a side project for the puzzle company CEACO. They continue to put out incredible work in partnerships with Disney, Books, and Artists such as Thomas Kinkade. This puzzle package project was for a puzzle named Fall at Fox Creek; this puzzle will hit shelves at Walmart this coming Fall, 2023.

In a semester-long thesis, we were able to pick any subject matter to create and work on. We created a client proposal including terms, leasing, and including all components the clients would receive. This was to give us “freelance experience” and to prepare us for life outside of college. I created City Girl Seltzer. City Girl Seltzer is a bold and unique spiked seltzer brand. The seltzer is to be based in Boston. The first pack of cans includes 3 Boston themed flavors. Package design is integral in any business, design, or product. Package and Publication design is where I learned the fundamentals of this thinking. We learned the importance of font, type, type weight, and package style. How the style of the box or bottle is just as important as the log or design itself.

My sister decided to run the marathon, which meant she needed to fundraise a ton of money… which meant she needed a campaign. I stepped in and made all print and web materials needed to make it engaging to look at.

Bean Buddy: The Mobile App. Coming Soon!

Bean Buddy is a coffee locator app made to be tailored to one’s coffee needs. This app is for all coffee addicts! The app allows you as the user to create a profile and add individual filters to your profile. These filters could include any dietary restrictions or what type of pick up you prefer. The app is paired with your moving location, so it can show you what is good near you.

Not only was this a successful app, but I was able to learn the importance of User Interface and User Experience. I was able to distinguish the difference between the two.

Bean Buddy is a coffee locator App. In this workflow, you can follow along to see the individual screens within the app. Starting with a simple tap of the bean in the logo all the way to the ability to review a specific coffee shop. This app will be the wave of coffee future!

A fun app recreation of “Beer With Me”. This app is known for being user-friendly and eye-catching. The app’s simplicity I think is what sets it apart from competitors. The project was part of a series done for a design class. The goal was to recreate the app identically to the version that is downloadable in the app store. The problem that was solved in remaking it was to think of the design process. Break it down into parts. I learned to slow down and look closer into the app itself.

The Patient is U, branding guide. I used my knowledge in logo design and marketing style guides to create mockups for the client. I made a inspiration board with using knowledge I gained from looking at other healthcare brands. To gain inspiration for the Ideas for these strong designs.

Package design was done for dinner subscription service based in Boston, MA. The goal was to take the current logo and give it an illustration feel

Death Cycle was made in practice for logo and brand design. Death Cycle is a fake spin studio. The idea behind it was to go off of Soul Cycle’s saying “Find your Soul” when spinning it is hard and often my friend’s and I joke it is death. This logo is pictorial style.

While working on Bean Buddy, I learned one important lesson. When creating a logo it takes a lot of iterations before you create the final product. I believe this logo in particular shows how motivated and driven I am as a designer. I created three final drafts before making the one I am most proud of. I was able to use the critique and constructive feedback to my advantage. I took the feedback to heart and kept reworking the design as a whole until it worked.

So Fetch! was built throughout a package and publication class. This is one of my strongest pieces of artwork. It was inspired by my favorite magazine to read which is TigerBeat Magazine. The young reader magazine is geared to the 10-14-year-old girl demographic. I decided to redesign and bring that nostalgia back to the Gen Z market. As the 2000s are back and better than ever!

Clorox x Claw the new refreshing spiked can drink. A package design for two companies that would NEVER collab. A humorous take on the typical white claw spiked seltzer.

As a huge fan of 2000’s pop and rock. Avril Lavigne has played a huge part in my love for music and the genre of music I listen to. I made this right before I attended her fall 2019 concert in Boston. Not to be dramatic but it was definitely one of the best nights of my life. As an avid fan for as long as I can remember being there and with other fans in a small setting made the night even better. I wanted to translate that love into a poster.

Poster Design

Recreating iconic book covers! Definitely one of the hardest projects I had been assigned, but the most rewarding. The math behind the dimensions in creating this piece took a long time to visualize. While creating this I took inspiration from World War II propaganda and Roy Lichtenstein in the art/ design for the book cover.

These are two pieces created for the Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley, Massachusetts. They were created as a series to appeal to families who attend the pool. The goal of the poster series was to engage members. The goal was to stray away from the common minimalistic style and bring back life into the informational posters used. The events held at the pool in years past had low attendance so I wanted to gain more participants. I made these for the front entrance check-in at the Pool.

Poster design is a way to communicate through words. In this poster, you see one quote communicated through color shifts and type size changes. I chose to use my favorite book with an incredible meaning to represent why I make art. I make art for myself. I make art for myself to think creatively and see where it takes me. This book teaches this same idea. Start with a dot and see where it takes you!

One of my friends is obsessed with One Direction, as we all were in 2012 right? So her birthday this year was One Direction themed. We all wore concert tees and I created this poster for part of her surprise. I edited here into the photo and popped some glitter on the background because it just made sense! Not much to this one other than how fun it was to make!
